A local opinion note published Saturday said coverage of this fall's elections, including Clemson City Council, is beginning a month before Election Day. The note placed the opening of in-person early voting on Oct. 19.
The state election commission lists that same start for the 2026 statewide general election. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3. The window runs from Monday, Oct. 19, through Saturday, Oct. 31, and the centers are closed on Sunday, Oct. 25. A voter may use any early-voting center in their own county and must bring a photo ID. In Pickens County one site is the Central-Clemson Library at 105 Commons Way in Central. Oconee County's office location is 415 S. Pine Street in Walhalla.
The commission page prints two different daily closing times, so no closing hour is given here.
