A statewide look at South Carolina's U.S. Senate race, taken at the end of September, sits inside the margin of error. The Republican candidate is Darline Graham. The Democrat is Annie Andrews. The Republican in this survey is not Lindsey Graham.
The polling firm questioned 1,200 likely voters on Sept. 28 and 29. The margin of error is 2.83 points. Respondents were reached by a mix of text message and an online panel, then weighted for age, race, gender, and party leaning.
Graham is at 46 percent. Andrews is at 45 percent. Mark Hackett, the Constitution Party candidate, is at 3 percent. Kasie Whitener, the Libertarian, is at 2 percent. The undecided share is 4 percent.
An Oct. 2 recap of that same survey printed the same one-point spread, the same 3 percent for Hackett, and the same 2 percent for Whitener, along with the 2.83-point margin. No newer full-ballot survey from a named firm replaced these shares. Older September surveys are not the numbers used here.
That firm did not sponsor this page. These are their numbers. We did not do the interviews.
