WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Clemson women’s soccer team wraps up its regular season Thursday at No. 4 Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, N.C., facing one of the strongest teams in the ACC this fall.
The Tigers carry a 6-4-6 overall mark and a 2-3-4 league record into the night, with a 2-2-3 slate away from home. Their last outing was a 1-1 tie at Virginia Tech, a match in which Reese Klein found the net for the first time this year.
Wake Forest sits at 13-2-1 and 6-2-1 in conference play with 19 points, and the Deacs swept their non-conference schedule 7-0-0. They beat Pittsburgh 2-1 on Oct. 30 with two goals less than a minute apart.
Clemson won the last meeting 1-0 at Historic Riggs Field on Oct. 16, 2025, and holds an 18-11-4 edge in the all-time series. The home side has been tough in this matchup, though: Wake Forest is 6-1-1 at home against the Tigers over the last 20 years.
Junior Anna Castenfelt leads Clemson with six goals and 12 points, and Taylor Leib adds four goals and three assists. The Tigers play for Eddie Radwanski, now 11 years into his tenure as head coach.
