LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Clemson volleyball opens a two-match road trip Friday night against one of the best teams in the country, facing No. 3 Louisville at 7 p.m. at L&N Federal Credit Union Arena on the Cardinals’ Halloween night.
The Tigers come in at 8-14 overall and 2-8 in the Atlantic Coast Conference after losing to No. 2 Pitt and No. 7 SMU last weekend. A week earlier they beat Boston College and Syracuse.
Louisville is 20-2 and a perfect 10-0 in league play, good for first place in the ACC. Its only losses came outside the conference, to Wisconsin and Kentucky. The Cardinals swept Florida State 3-0 in Tallahassee on Oct. 23 and beat Miami 3-1 two days later. Clemson has never beaten Louisville, going 0-14 in the series.
The Tigers then head to Notre Dame for a 1 p.m. match Sunday, Nov. 1. The Fighting Irish are 4-15 and 1-9 in the ACC. Clemson is 6-12 all-time against the Irish, 3-6 in Indiana, and lost on its last visit there in 2024.
Both matches stream on ACCNX. Clemson is back at Jervey Gym next week, with Wake Forest coming in Nov. 6 and NC State two days after that.
