CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson baseball will start its 2027 season deep in Texas against two of the sport’s heavyweights, according to the schedule the program released Saturday.

The Tigers play three games Feb. 19-21 at Globe Life Field in Arlington in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, beginning with the first meeting in program history against Texas. Clemson then faces Oklahoma, the reigning national champion, and wraps up the weekend against Arizona. TCU and Virginia round out the six-team event, which is marking its fourth straight year at the Arlington ballpark.

Back home, Doug Kingsmore Stadium opens on Wednesday, Feb. 24, when Western Carolina visits for the first time since 2018, followed by a weekend series with Brown.

The rivalry series with South Carolina moves around the state March 5-7, starting in Clemson, shifting to Fluor Field in Greenville and ending at Founders Park in Columbia. ACC play opens at home against Pittsburgh, and the regular season closes with NC State in Clemson May 20-22.

Head coach Erik Bakich enters his fifth season, and 28 of the games are against teams that made the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
