CLEMSON, S.C. — Voters in Clemson get a chance Wednesday evening to size up people running for local and state office when the Clemson Area Chamber of Commerce opens its doors to candidates for an evening question session starting at 5:30 p.m. inside the city’s Best Western hotel.
Chamber President Bryan Lee said the session is built around three races on this fall’s ballot: seats on Clemson City Council, seats on Pickens County Council and the S.C. House District 3 seat. The forum is free, and anyone who wants to listen is welcome to attend.
The forum lands during the first week of early voting in South Carolina, with Election Day set for Nov. 3. The chamber’s office is at 1105 Tiger Blvd, Clemson SC, and its website lists upcoming community events for residents who want to keep track.
