CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson’s gymnastics team will defend its ACC crown in a 2027 season that starts down the road in Greenville and brings five meets to Littlejohn Coliseum.
The Tigers open Jan. 10 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad, facing Georgia, Utah and North Carolina in a 1 p.m. session on ESPN. All three opponents ended last season ranked in the national top 20.
The quad event, now in its fourth year, moves to Greenville as its fourth host city. Its other session, on Jan. 9, features defending national champion Oklahoma along with LSU, Florida and UCLA. Single-session tickets go on sale Oct. 22.
Fans get an early look on Dec. 19, when the team holds a free showcase inside Littlejohn. The home opener follows Jan. 22 against North Carolina, with later home dates against NC State and Stanford plus two four-team home meets: Auburn, Pitt and Georgia visit together, and so do Michigan State, West Virginia and Penn State.
Road trips include the Metroplex event in Fort Worth, Texas, on Feb. 6. The league meet comes March 20, when Greensboro, N.C., hosts the ACC Championships.
Co-coaches Liz and Justin Howell won the league title in their first year leading the program, which was in just its third season. Last spring’s NCAA run ended with a third-place finish in the regional final at Baton Rouge. Twelve gymnasts return, joined by seven freshmen and three transfers from Kentucky, Iowa State and Penn State.
