# Clemson Women’s Soccer Secures ACC Home Opener Win

## Clemson Women’s Soccer Defeats Syracuse 2-0

The Clemson women’s soccer team secured a 2-0 victory against Syracuse in its ACC home opener on Sept. 17 at Historic Riggs Field. Head coach Eddie Radwanski highlighted the importance of ACC wins, particularly early in the season.

Taylor Leib scored the first goal for Clemson in the 67th minute. Anna Castenfelt then extended Clemson’s lead to 2-0 with the second goal of the game.

Clemson’s current record stands at 5-2-2. The team is scheduled to play the Miami Hurricanes, who have a 6-2-1 record, on Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at Cobb Stadium in Miami.
