The advisories come as summer conditions persist, posing risks that range from mild discomfort to life-threatening emergencies.

Heat-related problems encompass a spectrum of conditions, including heat cramps, heat rash, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, dehydration, and electrolyte imbalances. Each condition presents with distinct symptoms and varying degrees of severity, but all are exacerbated by hot and humid weather, a common feature of the Clemson climate during the warmer months.
